Robert Arevalo dies at 85

Veteran actor Robert Arevalo has passed away Thursday morning. He was 85.

In a Facebook post, his daughter, Anna Ylagan, shared the sad news.

"Robert Francisco Ylagan, a.k.a. Robert Arevalo, peacefully passed away at 10:17am this morning, Aug. 10, 2023," she wrote.

"Praise God for His mercy and grace. We are grateful that He has given us the best Papa one can ever wish for," Anna continued.

She then expressed gratitude to her father "for loving us the way you did[.]"

"Although our hearts are broken, we are comforted by God's promise that He has a place reserved for you in His kingdom in Heaven where all of us who believe in His son, Jesus, will one day reunite," she said.

Robert's wake will be held at Arlington Chapels in Quezon City on Saturday and Sunday.

In 2013, Robert starred in GMA's drama epic fantasy series "Indio." He was also part of the 2014 drama series "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real."
