Careless CEO Jeffrey Oh currently detained in BI facility, Immigration spox confirms
James Reid’s business partner and CEO of Careless Entertainment Jeffrey Oh is currently detained in the Bureau of Immigration facility in Bicutan, Taguig, Immigration Spokesperson Dana Sandoval confirmed.
In the “Today’s Talk” segment of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Tuesday, the King of Talk said Dana confirmed Jeffrey's arrest on July 28, due to an alleged lack of visa and work permits.
“Totoo po ang lumabas na reports nitong nakaraang linggo na inaresto ng awtoridad ang 34 year old business partner ni James Reid na si Jeffrey Oh dahil wala diumano itong work permit sa bansa,” Boy said.
[The reports from last week is true, that the 34-year-old business partner of James Reid, Jeffrey Oh, has been arrested by authorities for allegedly not having a work permit in the country.]
“Inaresto si Jeffrey ng mga immigration operatives noong July 28 sa Poblacion, Makati matapos makatanggap ang Bureau of immigration ng reklamo na wala diumanong visa at work permit si Jeffrey,” he added.

According to Tito Boy, he tried to confirm who filed the report in the Bureau of Immigration with Dana, but she refused to give details.
Jeffrey is a Korean-American entrepreneur who owns several restaurants and bars in Poblacion, including West32, Japonesa, HQ, and Alamat.
Earlier this year, Liza Soberano signed up as a talent to be managed by James under the talent agency, Careless.
