David Licauco, Barbie Forteza tease 'completely different' BarDa for 'Maging Sino Ka Man'
Are you ready for a completely different BarDa?
That’s what Sparkle GMA Artist Center promises in this latest photo of Barbie Forteza and David Licauco for their upcoming series, “Maging Sino Ka Man."
In totally contrasting looks from their characters as Klay and Fidel in “Maria Clara at Ibarra,” Barbie wore a baby pink top with a rose and yellow skirt. The Pambansang Ginoo donned an all-khaki look and even had an earring.
David also shared the photo on Facebook with the show’s hashtag.
Prior to this, GMA Network posted a short video of the “Maging Sino Ka Man” remake.
Barbie plays Monique, originally portrayed by Sharon Cuneta, whereas David is Carding, originally by Robin Padilla.
In what appears to be their first meeting at a dance hall, a dancing Monique bumps into stoic Carding, who catches her as she literally falls.
BarDa had also acted out an iconic scene from the movie and had taken part in script readings.
David previously shared that he is working on his manner of speech and slingshot skills to play the bad boy Carding.
Aside from this series, BarDa has an upcoming film titled “That Kind of Love,” which shot scenes in South Korea and on a yacht.
