Radson Flores admits he feels pressure being a rookie actor in 'Voltes V: Legacy'
Radson Flores is among the new faces cast in "Voltes V: Legacy," and while he carries the role of Mark Gordon extremely well, he admits that he feels the pressure.
In an interview on "Surprise Guest With Pia Arcangel," the actor said this is his first series, so a lot of things were new to him.
"Hindi ko pa po naexperience 'yung... habang pinapalabas, nag-te-taping din po, so hindi ko po masyado ma-gauge pa ang feeling, pero I could say na ang sarap po na petiks na feeling lang tapos manunuod lang kayo or promotion promotion na lang," he said.
"Tas maikiussap ka sa mga ibang fans, makiki interact ka lagi gabi gabi, sa Twitter, sa Instagram ganun po, ang sarap lang po sa feeling na nakakataba ng puso," he added.
He said that when he was chosen to play Mark Gordon, he was a mixture of nervousness and excitement.
"'Yung excitement and kaba naghalo po, kasi there is a feeling na, there is a feeling of pressure as a newbie actor, and mayroon din excitement kasi alam niyo po dream job niyo po 'yun maging actor, magpasaya ng mga tao, maka experience ng iba’t ubang buhay," he said.
"Pero andoon pa rin 'yung pressure na makukuha mo kasi one for the most budgeted series ng GMA kasi talaga," he added.
However, Radson said that his castmates, and even Direk Mark Reyes, helped him deal with the pressure.
Aside from Radson, "Voltes V: Legacy" stars Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Matt Lozano, and Raphael Landicho.
Recently, Miguel, Ysabel, and co-star Gabby Eigenmann represented the "Voltes V: Legacy" team in the San Diego Comic-Con 2023.
The show made history as the first Philippine TV series to be invited to the comic-con.
