4 Sang'gres to reunite in 'Sang'gre: Encantadia Chronicles'

It seems that we have not seen the last of Amihan, Pirena, Alena, and Danaya!

In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, Director Mark Reyes revealed that the four Sang'gres will appear in the upcoming "Sang'gre: Encantadia Chronicles."

"They're still there, they're still alive in that universe. We're expanding it with new characters," he said. "Hindi sila pinalitan po, nadagdagan po sila."

Amihan was played by Iza Calzado in 2005 and Kylie Padilla in the 2016 remake; Pirena by Sunshine Dizon and Glaiza De Castro, Alena by Karylle and Gabbi Garcia, and Danaya by Diana Zubiri and Sanya Lopez.

The first concept art for "Sang'gre" was unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con. The image features Bianca Umali dressed in a Sang'gre battle costume.

"Sang'gre: Encantadia Chronicles" is slated for 2024.
