Andrea Torres shares reason she said yes to ‘Love Before Sunrise:’ Bea Alonzo is 'my idol’

Andrea Torres couldn’t be more proud to work alongside Bea Alonzo in the upcoming series, “Love Before Sunrise.”

On Thursday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the Kapuso actress revealed she said yes to a kontrabida role in “Love Before Sunrise” because she wants to work with Bea.

“Ang saya kasi ngayon lang po ako magko-kontrabida and I took it because Bea Alonzo is my idol talaga,” Andrea said.

“So, wow, para maisip nila na isama ako, ang laking trust na binigay sa 'kin,” she added.

Andrea has been observing her idol on the “Love Before Sunrise” set and realized how talented and dedicated Bea is to her profession.

“Ino-observe ko si Bea, ‘yung script talagang inaaral niya, ‘yung may mga bagay doon na usually ‘di mo na mapapansin, ‘yung little things, napapansin niya and kine-question niya,” she said.

“Pareho sila ni John Lloyd [Cruz],” she added.

A collaboration between GMA Network and Viu Philippines, “Love Before Sunrise” started taping in April. The series follows soulmates whose right love happens at the wrong time.

Joining Andrea and Bea are Dennis Trillo, Sid Lucero, Nadia Montenegro, Sef Cadayona, Cheska Fausto, and Vince Maristela.
