Willie Nepomuceno impersonates various former Presidents in 2012 'KMJS' interview
Willie Nepomuceno died on July 26 after falling off the bed, hitting his head on the floor, and suffering from hematoma. He was 75 years old.
Known for his witty and spot-on impersonations, Willie Nep as he is commonly called shared his talent in a 2012 "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" interview, which the top-rating GMA show posted on Facebook Wednesday.
In the clip, you could see Willie Nep impersonating former Presidents including Ferdinand Marcos Sr., Fidel V. Ramos, Joseph Estrada, and Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino, III.
At that time, the impeachment of Chief Justice Renato Corona had just finished, of which Willie Nep simply had to do a satire, saying "I want to say my piece too."
According to his son, Willie Wilsson Nepomuceno, Willie Nep was rushed to the emergency room of Marikina Valley Medical Center on Monday following a fall off his bed and hitting his head on the floor.
He underwent surgery that same day "to evacuate the hematoma and relieve pressure to his brain," he told GMA News Online.
While his vital signs became stable, Willie Nep remained in comatose. His vitals deteriorated the following day and another CT scan showed the recurrence of hematoma and new signs of bleeding.
By Tuesday afternoon he was presumed brain dead and by Wednesday morning at 6:17, Willie Nepomuceno had passed away.
Our thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends. — LA, GMA Integrated News
