Pauline Amelinckx is back in the Philippines after Miss Supranational

Pauline Amelinckx has returned to the Philippines after representing the country in the Miss Supranational 2023.

The beauty queen finished as the 1st Runner-Up in the pageant held in Poland.

"I think we did so well for the Philippines this year and I'm so proud of our achievement," she said in an interview at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, according to a report on 'Unang Balita.'

Addressing her supporters, she added, "Like I said before, this is not a one-woman journey, this is all because of your support, too."

The Miss Supranational 2023 crown went to Andrea Aguilera of Ecuador.

Following the coronation night, Pauline said being 1st Runner-Up is "a victory."

Pauline was named Miss Supranational Philippines following her third try at the Miss Universe Philippines pageant last May. She represented her hometown of Bohol.

The country's only Miss Supranational winner is Mutya Datul, who won the crown in 2013. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
