Why didn't Jillian Ward bring a date to the GMA Gala?

Jillian Ward went solo to the GMA Gala last Saturday, turning heads with her ocean wave-inspired gown by Mak Tumang.

In an interview on a special episode of "Updated With Nelson Canlas," she was asked why she didn't bring a date.

The 18-year-old actress promptly answered, "Naisip ko na gusto ko muna mag-focus sa sarili ko, family ko, and friends."

With a laugh, she added, "Wala pa po sa ngayon, baka next year. Wag mo muna ngayon, ineenjoy ko muna na mag-isa ako."

Although Jillian didn't bring a date, she had her "Abot-Kamay na Pangarap" co-stars with her during the GMA Gala.

In a recent post, Jillian shared a group pic with all the boys of her character Dr. Analyn — Ken Chan, Jeff Moses, Michael Sager, and Raheel Bhyria.
