Ricky Lee praises Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz's film 'The Cheating Game:' 'Hindi ko ini-expect' yung twist'

Ricky Lee was all praises on Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz's first film together, "The Cheating Game."

The film had its red carpet premiere on Monday, attended by its cast and other prominent personalities in the entertainment industry, including the National Artist for Film and Broadcast.

When asked for his reaction to "The Cheating Game," the award-winning veteran director said, "Maganda."

"I was expecting a typical rom-com, but it turned out to be so much more!" he added.

“Hindi ko ini-expect yung twist," Ricky said.

In "The Cheating Game," Julie Anne San Jose will show her daring side as she gives life to Hope Celestial, who has been cheated on by her fiance.

She later meets Miguel Agustin (played by Rayver Cruz), a seemingly green flag guy. 

"The Cheating Game" will hit cinemas on Wednesday.

"It turned out to be so much more."
