Rufa Mae Quinto on Klea Pineda, Katrice Kierulf: ‘I’m happy sa mga taong totoo, go lang nang go’

Rufa Mae Quinto just expressed her allyship to the LGBT+ community!

At the GMA Gala, Rufa joined Nelson Canlas as host in an interview segment of his "Updated" podcast and said she was happy to see Klea Pineda proudly bringing her girlfriend Katrice Kierulf as her date to the event.

"First time ko with someone special [at GMA Gala]," Klea told Nelson and Rufa Mae, who responded with words of support for the happy couple.

“Congrats, alam mo I’m so happy sa mga taong totoo,” Rufa said. “Kaya go lang nang go!”

When asked how Klea felt during the ball, she said she felt excited.

“Very surreal ‘yung nararamdaman ko,” she said.

“Hindi matatapos ‘yung gabi naman here, pwedeng makakasama pa namin ‘yung iba naming friends na magkakaiba ang table so mas masaya,” she added.

In June, the couple proudly marched together at Quezon City's LoveLaban Pride event. They also joined Gabbi Garcia and her father for a fun Pride Ride before the festivities.

Klea came out as gay in March. She also publicly introduced Katrice as her girlfriend.
