At GMA Gala 2023, Tim Yap captures beautiful moment between GMA and ABS-CBN execs

The GMA Gala 2023 was certainly one for the books.

Apart from all the gorgeous artistas who came dressed to the nines — and the whopping 300 million views across GMA-related platforms, as of writing — the event last Saturday saw stars and executives from GMA and ABS-CBN come together for a fun night.

None other than Tim Yap captured a beautiful moment between head honchos of the Kapuso and Kapamilya networks that evening.

"It was a night when not just the stars but the galaxies aligned. It was a historic moment. And it was a lot of fun, too!" Tim captioned his Instagram post from the evening.

One of the photos included in his post showed GMA Network’s chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon and SVP Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes posing for a snap with ABS-CBN’s President and CEO Carlo L. Katigbak and COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes.

In his Instagram Stories, Tim also had a video of the two CEOs shaking hands as Vidanes and Gozon-Valdes came together for some besos.

"Historic," Tim captioned that post as he tagged the personalities.

Earlier, Vice Ganda posted a cute video with Michael V. where she called the Kapuso comedy genius, "idol." She said it was one of her best moments at the Gala. 

Another Kapuso-Kapamilya gem of a moment? When Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia told GMA News Online that Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza was best dressed for him. 

At the "It's Showtime" signing with GTV in June, Gozon proclaimed the end of network wars.

Apart from the sprouting collaborations between GMA and ABS, the GMA Gala 2023, where Anne Curtis joined Kapuso stars as awardees of the evening, is certainly another manifestation of the healthy relationship between the two networks. Cheers to that!
