At GMA Gala 2023, Barbie Forteza went solo: 'A diamond’s gotta shine'

Barbie Forteza decided to go solo at the GMA Gala 2023 and wowed the red carpet too, in that immaculate mint green number.

On Twitter Sunday, Barbie responded to many comments about her solo flight decision, quoting a Taylor Swift line: "What's a girl to do? A diamond's gotta shine." 

Ahead of the GMA Gala, many fans wondered who Barbie's date was going to be: Is it her ka-love team David Licauco or her longtime boyfriend Jak Roberto?

At that time, Barbie shrugged off the talk saying she wasn't even sure if she could make it, as her body was already faltering due to so much work. 

"Pero gusto ko tong mga paganto ha? It’s giving main character vibe!" She wrote on Twitter reeking with so much positive vibes.

At the Gala on Saturday evening, Barbie even wowed "Unbreak My Heart" actor Joshua Garcia, who said she was the best-dressed celebrity at the event.

Barbie was among the night's awardees, after being selected as the Avignon Radiant Beauty of The Night.
