G Tongi, co-producer of 'Here Lies Love,' reminds audiences of security protocols
G Tongi, a co-producer of the Broadway musical “Here Lies Love,” has reminded theatergoers of their security protocols.
On Threads, she thanked everyone who came to support the play and posted a map that shows exactly where the stage door is located.
“We really appreciate everyone who followed our safety protocols for our artists," she said.
Her post comes at the heels of the incident where a group of fans went to Lea Salonga's dressing room, breaching the artist’s privacy as well as the security rules.
The group name-dropped G, saying that they are friends with the producer.
However, Lea said in a tweet that after checking in with G after the incident, “she had no idea who they were.”
In her Threads post, reposted on Faebook, G clarified that should fans want to meet the cast members, "Please proceed directly out of the theater to stage door after the show on 53rd street between Broadway and 8th.”
The video of the fans' incident with Lea has gone viral and currently has 24,000 reactions, 7,600 comments, and 2.6 million views.
GMA News Online has reached out to the original poster, Cristopher Carpila, for comments. He previously said that he will post another video explaining what happened.
