Sef Cadayona reveals wanting to quit showbiz

"Bubble Gang" has just moved to a different time slot and Sef Cadayona is nowhere to be found.

On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Tuesday, the Kapuso commedian explained he thought it was "my time to graduate."

"Hindi naman ako nawala. Andito pa rin ako," Sef began as his voice cracked.

"For me, it was I think, it was my time to graduate and look into a different side ng buhay ko. Going back months before, ayoko na mag-showbiz," he admitted.

"Parang hindi ko nakikitang nag-sha-shine ulit ang talent ko," Sef continued.

According to Sef, his initial decision wasn't about not getting roles or chances. "Iniisip ko, 'OK pa ba ako? OK pa ba ako dito? Nagagampanan ko pa ba ang role ko?"

As he went through months of contemplation about his life path, Sef met with several GMA executives who helped him decide. "Nakita ko ang pagmamahal nila," he said.

When the King of Talk asked to confirm if he was staying," Sef could only smile and nod yes.

Sef is a cast member of  upcoming GMA drama, "Love Before Sunrise," headlined by Dennis Trillo and Bea Alonzo. — LA, GMA Integrated News
