Alden Richards admits initially feeling intimidated working with Sharon Cuneta
Alden Richards revealed he initially felt intimidated working with the Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
"Intimidation [was] there," Alden said on Friday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abuna."
“Megastar po eh,” he emphasized.
But on Day 1 alone, the two quickly established a working relationship.
“When we first met for the workshop for the movie po, parang all the walls already broke. Syempre iba pa rin po yung nasa likod po kami ng camera, we can be ourselves,” the Asia’s Multimedia Star shared.
Referring to Sharon as mama, Alden said “si mama kasi po, pag nasa standby area po kami, or hindi pa nagro-roll yung camera, you can just, you can be yourself around her,” he continued. “That’s how she makes me feel.”
The feeling is mutual. In a social media post, Sharon said Alden was "truly like my own son."
Alden and Sharon are starring in an upcoming film titled “A Mother and Son’s Story," which is an official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival.
