Dingdong Dantes says hosting 'Amazing Earth' makes him 'grow as a citizen of the world'

Dingdong Dantes said hosting the series "Amazing Earth" for five years now makes him a better "citizen of the world."

In Tuesday's press conference of "Amazing Earth," the Kapuso Primetime King said there's a lot to learn about the world every day, and the series helps him uncover something about our world, one episode at a time.

"Being part of 'Amazing Earth' as a storyteller helps me grow as a citizen of this world because of the many things to learn every day," Dingdong told the members of the press via Zoom.

"Most importantly, it also helps me grow as an artist," he added.

Aside from "Amazing Earth," Dingdong is also gearing up for the upcoming film, "Rewind," with his wife, Marian Rivera. This will mark the real-life couple's comeback film after 13 years.

"You to Me Are Everything" was the last movie of the DongYan tandem released in 2010.

They also starred in the film "One True Love" and in GMA's remake of "Marimar," where they first met each other.

"Amazing Earth" is set to air a 3-part special to celebrate its fifth anniversary starting on July 14.
