On Dolphy's 11th death anniv, Mabelyn dela Cruz thanks the Comedy King 'for keeping us together'
Dolphy's TV kids came together on the occasion of the Comedy King's 11th death anniversary.
Claudine Barretto, Maybelyn dela Cruz, Vandolph, Boy2 Quizon, Gio Alvarez, and Smokey Manaloto, once known as the Cosme kids back in the '90s, came together to mark the death anniversary of Dolphy, who played their TV father, aka Kevin Cosme on 90s sitcom "Home Along Da Riles."
On Instagram both Claudine and Maybelyn shared snaps and videos of their reunion.
"Missing you even more today, Tito Dolph. Thank you for keeping us together. We love you!" Maybelyn wrote in an Instagram post that showed the celebrities surrounding a framed photo of Dolphy.
The succeeding photos showed the Cosme kids joined by the sitcom's crew.
"Love is immortal," Maybelyn added.
In another post, Maybelyn shared a trippy video of the Cosme kids dancing with the flashlight of their mobile phones and used #WeLoveOurTatayKevin as one of her hashtags
In her Instagram post, meanwhile Claudine said "Just a little more and we will be complete. I love you so much!" and used the TV sitcom's title as her hashtag.
A number of Dolphy's loved ones commemorated his 11th death anniversary, including Zsa Zsa Padilla who asked for a little bit of prayer for him.
Dolphy, Rodolfo Quizon in real life, died on July 10, 2012 at age 83.
