Anne Curtis receives charcoal painting from fan she helped to pay hospital bills in 2021

Anne Curtis got teary-eyed after she received a charcoal painting from a fan she helped in 2021 by paying his hospital bills.

On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the King of Talk surprised Anne by calling on stage Raymond and Raymart, who prepared fan art for the actress as their way of expressing gratitude.

According to Tito Boy, Raymart got admitted to the hospital in November 2021 for an appendectomy operation. Since they lacked funds, his brother Raymond started selling charcoal paintings of famous celebrities in 2021, including Anne.

Back then, Anne wanted to buy the fan art, but when she tried to reach out, it was already sold for P1,000. The actress then decided to pay for the remaining balance in their hospital bills instead.

"Maraming salamat po sa tulong ninyo po sa 'min nung time na na-ospital po ako, kayo po 'yung isa sa tumulong para sa hospital bills namin," Raymart told Anne after handing her the painting.

"Sobrang thank you po talaga kasi matagal na po naming inaantay na makita kayo para mapasalamatan po kayo ng personal," Ronald added.

In the episode, Anne was close to crying while holding the painting and listening to their messages. The painting showed Anne and Erwan back when she was pregnant with Dahlia.

Anne is among the mainstay hosts of the noontime show "It's Showtime," which premiered on GMA Network's GTV earlier this month.
