Jessica Villarubin gives a twist on viral ‘Killing Me Softly’ trend

Jessica Villarubin has put her own spin on the viral “Killing Me Softly” trend.

Instead of just playing the song in the background and strutting her outfit, the Power Cebuana Diva went the extra mile, showcasing her top vocals as she sang the song acapella all while confidently doing a runway walk.

“DIY Tiktok trend,” the singer said in her caption.

Other celebrities who hopped on the “Killing Me Softly” rampa trend include Barbie Forteza and Herlene Budol, who used the opportunity to introduced her Grand Budol Walk.

Jessica was named the grand champion of “ The Clash ” season 3 in 2020. She was honored with the Best Performance by New Female Recording Artist trophy at the 2022 Awit Awards .

Shortly after, the singer went through a transformation and wowed fans with her glamorous new look . According to Jessica, her new look has given her a lot more confidence .

The singer’s recent projects include songs on the OSTs for “ Start-Up PH ” and “ Prima Donnas .”
