Cesar Montano, 60, earns master's degree in public safety
Cesar Montano is now a master's degree holder!
The 60-year-old actor graduated from the Philippine Public Safety College on Thursday, finishing his studies on public safety administration.
On Facebook, Cesar posted several photos of him attending the commencement exercises, proudly wearing the graduation gown and cap.
"I was a scholar too. I want to inspire people by showing them there's no substitute for education," he actor told PEP.ph.
In a Facebook live video, Cesar also showed that he received an bronze medal for Best in Policy Paper for his work titled "Arts as Instrument of Drug Rehabilitation: A Policy Recommendation."
The veteran actor is one of 47 graduates in his class, which included police officials, jail officers, fire officers, coast guard commanders, and more.
Cesar previously graduated from Lyceum of the Philippines in 2009 with a degree in mass communication.
Other celebrities who hold a master's degree include Ronnie Liang, Rocco Nacino, Manny Pacquiao, G Töngi, Jake Ejercito, and Venus Raj.
