Barbie Forteza, David Licauco wow in script reading for 'Maging Sino Ka Man'
Barbie Forteza and David Licauco gave another sneak peek at their characters for the upcoming "Maging Sino Ka Man" remake!
In the script reading for the series, Barbie was already in-character, delivering her lines intensely while looking at David. She also held a highlighter to make marks on her script.
David, meanwhile, focused on reading his lines, but he also made gestures and expressed his character with his voice.
Even with just this short glimpse of their performances as Monique and Carding for "Maging Sino Ka Man," they already wowed many fans.
"Kaya nanalo ng best actress abroad baka Barbie yarn," one fan said.
"Script reading pa lang yan . Galing na ni David," said another.
Other fans can't help but notice how David has a similar voice to Sen. Robin Padilla, who originally played the role of Carding.
"Wow! Kaboses ni Robin Padilla pa talaga," read one comment, which was seconded by a few others.
Previously, Barbie and David acted out the iconic ending scene of the movie.
"Maging Sino Ka Man" is a popular '90s film starring Robin and Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
It will be reimagined into a series with Team BarDa as the leads and Juancho Triviño as Gilbert, the role originally played by Edu Manzano.
Barbie and David rose to popularity as a love team when they starred as Fidel and Klay in historical portal fantasy series "Maria Clara at Ibarra."
They also have an upcoming film titled "That Kind of Love."
