Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Rayver Cruz to star in upcoming series 'Can't Let Go'

Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Rayver Cruz will star together for the first time in the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series "Can't Let Go." 

According to Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Thursday, the two are very excited to work together.

Jasmine and Rayver said they got to see the beautiful story they will tell when "Can't Let Go" held its story conference on Wednesday.

"Alam ko pong mas malaki at mas madami ang pinagdadaanan ng mga karakter sa afternoon prime kaya talagang mapapasubok ako dito but ok lang, we love a good challenge," Jasmine said.

"Pagka hapon po kasi talagang heavy drama lagi. Every time na may drama, nakaka-excite talaga. Kasi you get to explore the character and parang ikaw mismo maglalagay ng back story sa character mo," Rayver added.

Other cast members of the upcoming series include Martin del Rosario, Liezel Lopez, Kim De Leon, Crystal Paras, Luis Hontiveros, and more.

Rayver has an upcoming film with Julie Anne San Jose titled "The Cheating Game."

Jasmine, meanwhile, previously starred in the film "In My Mother's Skin," an entry to the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.
