Mario Dumaual's family releases wake details
Mario Dumaual’s wake and interment details have been released by his family.
Based on an announcement on the late journalist and broadcaster’s official Instagram and Facebook pages, the wake will begin on July 6, Thursday at 2 p.m. It will be held until the afternoon of July 9, Sunday at the Loyola Memorial Chapels in Commonwealth, Quezon City.
The interment will also be on Sunday at the Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City.
Dumaual died on July 5, Wednesday due to septic shock. He was 64 years old.
He was confined at the Philippine Heart Center for a month, battling a severe fungal infection which was a complication during his recovery from a heart attack.
“What comforts us is he knew that we were always with him, waiting for him, and that home was wherever he felt our love,” his family wrote.
“We also made it a point to let him know how loved he was by his friends in the industry and even kind strangers who have been offering prayers and help for his recovery,” they added.
