Ricci Rivero says Andrea Brillantes knows why he broke his silence

Ricci Rivero said that his ex-girlfriend Andrea Brillantes is aware of the reason why he decided to speak up following their breakup.

On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Ricci said that Andrea knows he feels beat up amid the hate his family has been receiving.

"She knows why I'm speaking up right now, kasi matagal ko nang sinasabi sa kanya, Tito Boy, like what I've been saying kanina pa na maayos kami nag-uusap eh."

"Maayos ko rin sinasabi sa kanya na parang 'wait lang, bugbog na ako eh,' 'di ba?" he continued. "Ikaw hindi ka nagsasalita kasi lahat ng sympathy nasayo eh 'di ba? So, OK lang, naiintindihan ko, hindi ganun kahirap pero 'yung sakin bugbog na ako eh."

In the same interview, Ricci said that his loved ones are beginning to bear the brunt of hatred amid speculations surrounding their breakup, prompting him to ask his haters to spare his family and friends.

Earlier this month, Ricci publicly announced his breakup with Andrea on Twitter, asking fans to respect their decision to keep the split private.

Among the rumors that surfaced following the news was the alleged romantic involvement of Ricci with former beauty queen Leren Mae Bautista, which Ricci also denied.
