'Eat Bulaga' hosts excited for 'It's Showtime' on GTV
“Eat Bulaga” hosts are also looking forward to “It’s Showtime’s” arrival on GTV.
In an interview posted by Kapuso Showbiz News, Paolo Contis shared his excitement for GMA and ABS-CBN’s “very big” collaboration.
And this is a very big collaboration kasi noontime show na ‘to,” he said.
Paolo added that it “opens up a lot of opportunities for other actors” to be invited as guests in the show and also for them to be invited on "Eat Bulaga," and vice versa.
“'Yan naman ang main ano ni Mr. Gozon, makapag-entertain lang nang dire-diretso,” Paolo said, adding that the show’s arrival on GTV will be “very new” to the eyes of the Kapuso viewers.
Meanwhile, Buboy Villar noted that he has no problem at all with the show’s airing, highlighting that it is a good thing, especially for those who work behind the cameras.
Cassy Legaspi, on the other hand, said that she is excited to see her “It’s Showtime” friend.
“Well, I’m friends with someone on “[It’s] Showtime,” alam n’yo na kung sino. I’m excited because, you know, we’re gonna be one big happy family,” she said with a big smile.
In recent social media posts, Cassy was seen being close to actor-singer Darren Espanto.
In May, the two stars shared cozy photos taken in California.
Cassy’s twin, Mavy Legaspi, additionally shared that he is looking forward to having collaborations with the hosts.
“Oh syempre, si Ate Meme, si Ate Vice, I'm so happy na they're all here. Actually nag-guest host for a while si mama doon and noong guest host pa si mama noon bumibisita ako kay mama so I'm very familiar with them, I'm so happy that they're here and I hope na magkaroon ng collaborations soon,” he said.
Mavy added, “And at the end of the day, we all, kahit ano pang show yan, we all have the same goal: to make our signal audience happy and of course sa televiewers.”
Betong Sumaya likewise welcomed the hosts to the Kapuso station.
“Naku, my goodness! Welcome, welcome po sa Kapuso station. Sobrang happy dahil isipin nyo, nagsanib pwersa na kumbaga eh no?
Paolo, Buboy, Cassy, Mavy, and Betong are among the new hosts of “Eat Bulaga” after its original hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon left TAPE Incorporated.
