David Licauco on why he took that candid photo of Barbie Forteza
David Licauco opened up on why he took that candid photo of Barbie Forteza that made their fans kilig.
In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Monday, David said he saw Barbie sitting on the yacht and the sunset view so he asked if he can take a picture of her.
Barbie said David told her "ganda-ganda naman," so she ended up laughing and that was what the actor captured.
"Totoo naman din kasi 'yun na maganda nga siya, sabi ko na lang na act normal lang kasi mas maganda 'yung natural," he said.
"Sabi niya kasi 'di daw siya maka-aura and I said hindi mo na kailangan um-awra kasi maganda ka naman na," he added.
Barbie and David rode the yacht while shooting their film "That Kind of Love." The two of them felt a bit sea-sick, but laughing helped them deal with it.
According to Barbie, fans must look forward to the scene they shot in the yacht.
David and Barbie also flew to South Korea to shoot some scenes for "That Kind of Love."
Barbie and David became a popular love team for their roles as Fidel and Klay in "Maria Clara at Ibarra."
The two also starred in "Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko: Lady and Luke" and will work together again in a new series.
