Who else can’t get enough of Raphael Landicho as Little Jon in “Voltes V: Legacy?”

The 10-year-old Kapuso actor has already showcased his prowess on shows like “Bihag” and “Love of My Life,” but Rap Rap said he enjoys the challenge of the action-packed “Voltes V.”

"Unique nga po itong show na ito, kasi po ito po [parang] big project po ng GMA,” he said in an interview on “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel.”

Raphael added that he enjoys playing the genius inventor Little Jon, the guy behind Octo-1, the sixth member of the Voltes Team.

“Tsaka may halong action po diba, tsaka may halong drama. Eh ako po, lagi po akong sanay sa drama kaya medyo na-challenge po ako,” Raphael said.

“Ginawa ko po talaga 'yung best ko para magawa ko 'yung role ko, magampanan ko siya nang maigi,” he added.

In preparation for the role, Raphael watched the original “Voltes V” anime. He even learned  taekwondo.

Rap Rap said that he and his mom would also have one-on-one acting workshops to help.

“Para po kapag sinabak na ako sa taping, [pwede] na po akong mag-acting nang maayos para po prepared na po ako,” he added.

Raphael started shooting “Voltes V: Legacy” when he was seven years old, but had to stop for more than a year due to pandemic protocols. He also kept outgrowing his costume.
