GTV to start airing 'It's Showtime' starting July 1
“It’s Showtime,” ABS-CBN’s iconic noontime show, is set to air on GMA’s GTV (Good Television) starting July 1.
On Instagram on Monday, GMA Network posted ABS-CBN’s statement regarding the development.
“We are also very grateful to GMA’s GTV Channel and happy to announce that ‘It’s Showtime’ has found another home,” ABS-CBN said.
“G na G tayo, Madlang People!” they added.
Earlier today, GTV and Vice Ganda teased netizens with a poster about airing “It’s Showtime” on its channel.
Last month, TVJ confirmed they were leaving TAPE, which manages GMA’s noontime show “Eat Bulaga.”
Soon after the trio’s announcement, other “Dabarkads,” namely Maine Mendoza, Paolo Ballesteros, Ryan Agoncillo, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Allan K, and Ryzza Mae Dizon, followed suit.
Earlier this month, “Eat Bulaga” went back live on air with a new set of hosts, including Paolo Contis, Betong, Buboy Villar, Mavy and Cassy Legaspi, and Alexa Miro, among others.
