Patrick Guzman’s family releases statement on actor’s death, wake details
Patrick Guzman passed away on June 15. He was 56 years old.
His wife Liezle released a statement on social media, which was reposted by actress and director Beverly Vergel on Instagram.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of Patrick Guzman, on June 15, 2023 in his 56th year,” the statement read.
Patrick and his family live in Canada, where the actor passed.
He is survived by his wife, children Aiden, Aerielle, and Jam, as well as his mother, siblings, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive guests on June 22 and 23, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A funeral mass will happen on June 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Ward Funeral Home in Brampton, Canada. A cremation will take place.
“Forever in our hearts,” the statement ended.
According to Pep, Patrick died of a heart attack.
Patrick rose to fame in the '90s as an actor and commercial model, and was crushed on by many.
He is best known for the films “Koronang Itim” and “Una Kang Naging Akin.” He also acted in Viktoria’s music video for “Dahan Dahan.”
The ‘90s heartthrob last appeared in “BROmance the Movie” in 2019, which was written and directed by Beverly.
