Pokwang dissociates from joint social media accounts with Lee O'Brian

Pokwang has dissociated from her joint social media accounts with her ex-partner, Lee O'Brian.

The Kapuso comedienne made the announcement on Monday through an Instagram post.

"We tried to negotiate with [Mr.] Lee O'Brian to recover the management of said social media accounts that contain Pokwang's image; however, he refused to come to an agreement with us," the statement read.

Due to their disagreement, Pokwang decided to terminate her association with the said accounts and, at the same time, restricted the use of her images for promotions and other purposes.

Pokwang also announced that she created a new YouTube account, "Mamang & Malia," featuring herself and her daughter.

"Thank you all for your love and support. Salamat po [dagdag] pang tuition ni Malia," she said. "Thank you."

Last week, Pokwang filed a deportation case against Lee, saying that she wants to be free of him.

"Kailangan nating mabigyan ng leksyon 'yung mga taong nang-aabuso sa batas natin, sa karapatan ng bawat babae, bawat nanay," she said.

In July 2021, Pokwang confirmed she had separated from Lee in December 2021.

In a "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" episode this February, Pokwang admitted her split from Lee had not been amicable and opened up on the real reasons they broke up.

Pokwang also said she was the one who kicked Lee out of their home, adding that he had already moved on to someone new.

The comedienne confirmed her relationship with Lee in 2015. They welcomed Malia in 2018.
