Is Rita Daniela jealous of Julie Anne San Jose?

Has Rita Daniela ever felt jealous of fellow "Popstar Kids" alum Julie Anne San Jose?

On Thursday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Rita said that since she came from a reality talent show with Julie Anne San Jose, they understand that they have a "healthy competition" between them.

When asked if she ever felt envious of Julie Anne's success, she responded, "Wala po, Tito Boy."

"Naniniwala po ako na we all have our seasons at ito ang season ni Julie. At ang season ko ngayon is to be a full-time mom... to be the best mom to Uno," she added.

"Popstar Kids" is a singing contest for kids that aired in 2005. Rita was hailed as the champion of Season 1, while Julie Anne was among the finalists.

Julie Anne was recently celebrated for her portrayal of Maria Clara in historical portal fantasy series "Maria Clara at Ibarra." She will star with Rayver Cruz in upcoming film "The Cheating Game."

She also sang the "Voltes V: Legacy" theme song and held successful concerts, the JulieVerse and the Limitless trilogy.

Meanwhile, Rita is now a mom to her son Uno, whom she gave birth to in December.

Before her pregnancy, she did a film with on-screen partner Ken Chan, "Huling Ulan sa Tag-Araw." She won a Jury Prize at International Film Festival Manhattan 2022 for her performance.
