Nora Aunor to play mother with Alzheimer's in comeback film with Alfred Vargas
It seems that Nora Aunor's upcoming film with Alfred Vargas will bring us to tears!
On Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Alfred revealed that the film, titled "Pieta," follows the story of a mother and son.
The son, which Alfred plays, gets lost and eventually reunites with his mom, but she is not the same as she was before.
"Pagbalik nya, [when] he was looking for his mom, may Alzheimer's [disease] na 'yung mom."
"Here, makikita natin na it's a very beautiful film... fitting to be the Superstar's comeback," the self-confessed Noranian said.
"Pieta" is directed by Adolf Alix Jr., whose films include "That Boy in the Dark," "Kontrabida," and "Death March."
The project marks Nora's return to the big screen since the showing of her Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry "Isa Pang Bahaghari" in 2020.
