Boy Abunda says judges already got competitive during 'Battle of the Judges' rehearsals

The "Battle of the Judges" is on!

On Monday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Tito Boy said he and his fellow judges Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Bea Alonzo, Jose Manalo got pretty heated when they started the rehearsals for the talent show.

"Nung umpisa, pakiramdam, s'yempre we were very pleasant to each other, nung practice pa lamang po ito, pero nagkainitan na," the King of Talk said.

"By the time the first day was almost over, lahat na involved, lahat na engaged, lahat na invested sa palabas," he added.

Tito Boy also explained that the show was titled "Battle of the Judges" because they closely mentor their contestants.

"Bawat talent na aming hawak, mine-mentor namin. Hindi lang in terms of performance, damit, anong kanta, anong movement, do we need to hire a stylist? Do we need to hire a movement coach or vocal coach?" he said. "Lahat po 'yan ginagawa."

"Battle of the Judges" is set to air on GMA starting on July 15. It will be hosted by Alden Richards.
