Sandara Park flattered that she still gets recognized in the Philippines: 'Kakagulat, I’m so happy!'
Sandara Park is totally kilig over how Filipinos still recognize her after all these years.
In case you need a refresher, Sandara had a successful career in the Philippines as a singer and actress before going back home to South Korea in 2007. She debuted as a member of the iconic 2NE1 in 2009.
On Twitter, the South Korean star shared some photos of her time in Clark, Pampanga and expressed appreciation to Filipinos for still remembering her.
“Sobrang nakakagulat at nakakaflatter na hanggang ngayon, kilalang kilala pa ako ng [mga] Pinoy,” she wrote.
“Maraming salamat sa love [and] support nyo sakin~!!! [Mahal] ko kayo~!!! Forever~!!!” she added, citing her now iconic line.
In a follow-up tweet, she said, “Question! Pano nyo ba ako naalala hanggang ngayon kahit matagal [na ‘ko wala] sa [Philippine TV] show."
“Sa halos lahat ng generation, naalala pa nila ako. Kahit sa mall, sa market, sa [restaurant], sa lahat ng places,” she added. “Kakagulat hehe I’m so happy!!!”

It is Sandara’s first time in Clark and has been enjoying her time there.
Although it is yet to be officially announced, fans on Twitter think that Dara is shooting for the Korean variety show “Idol Truck” after she had been spotted with the cast at the airport. Dara was with her fellow K-Pop idols: Jinu from Winner, Aron and JR or Kim Jonghyeon from NU’EST, and rapper Dindin.
