Here are the wake details of late veteran actor John Regala

John Regala passed away last Saturday due to cardiac arrest and multiple health complications.

For those who wish to visit his wake, it will be at St. Peter Tandong Sora in Commonwealth, Quezon City, starting this afternoon.

"Ang burol po ni [John Regala] ay sa [St. Peter Tandang Sora Commonwealth simula ngayong hapon po. Maraming Salamat po]," a relative of John posted on his official Facebook page on Sunday.

John's niece, Nene Lour Billones Bendijo, also confirmed the details of his wake to GMA News Online.

John, whose real name is John Paul Guido Boucher Scherrer, appeared on "That's Entertainment" from 1986 to 1988.

He gained fame as an action star and for his kontrabida roles and is best known for "Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story," "Askal," "Zombading: Patayin Sa Shokot Si Remington," and the original "Encantadia."
