Maine Mendoza, Paolo Ballesteros, Ryan Agoncillo, other 'Eat Bulaga' hosts resign from TAPE Inc.

"Eat Bulaga" mainstay hosts Maine Mendoza, Paolo Ballesteros, Ryan Agoncillo, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Allan K, and Ryzza Mae Dizon have also left TAPE Incorporated.

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the King of Talk said the Dabarkads members have written and signed their resignation letters.

"Ang nabasa namin ay sila ay nagbitiw at nagre-resign sa TAPE Inc.," he added.

On her Instagram Stories, Pauleen Luna shared a photo of the hosts resignation letter and said "all the hosts, writers, sales, production, and cameramen followed suit immediately after TVJ's [resignation].

In Today's Talk segment, Boy also read through the official statement of TAPE Inc. regarding the announcement of TVJ's departure on Wednesday.

"TAPE, INC. is saddened by the turn of events yesterday, May 31, but we respect the decision of the hosts to leave Eat Bulaga and GMA 7 Network, which has been their home for 28 years," the statement reads.

TVJ resigned from TAPE on Wednesday. Following the unfortunate developments, GMA Network issued a statement and said it was saddened "by the unexpected turn of events."
