Alden Richards has touching posts on Eat Bulaga's departure from TAPE
That got us teary eyed.
Alden Richards on Instagram Thursday posted a photo of himself and Vic Sotto with their backs toward each other, looking to the opposite directions.
Both looked serious, with nary a smile on their faces. That the photo was in black and white made it even more poignant, all things considered.
In the caption, Alden only put three folded hands emojis.
The photo is Alden's second post on Instagram about Eat Bulaga leaving Tape.
On Wednesday, the Kapuso heartthrob posted a photo that showed him kneeling on a darkened stage, with the Eat Bulaga logo as background. It was taken by fellow dabarkads Ryan Agoncillo.
"Always and forever," Alden wrote, tagging the longest running noontime show.
Alden joins a throng of celebrities following Tito, Vic, and Joey's announcement Wednesday that Eat Bulaga will leave Tape productions.
Rochelle Pangilinan said "nakakalungkot lang" while Maja Salvador expressed her love for the three pioneering hosts. Ruru Madrid meanwhile voiced out his gratitude.
Meanwhile, Danica and Ciara Sotto, daughters of Vic and Tito respectively, also put out their reactions to the sad news.
In its statement, GMA Network said it was "saddened by the unexpected turn of events."
