Zack Tabudlo on Moira-Jason breakup: ‘I kept quiet, but it all became too heavy for me’

Zack Tabudlo just broke his silence surrounding the issue involving him in the Moira Dela Torre - Jason Hernandez split.

On Facebook Wednesday, the "Binibini" singer posted a photo of him in a hospital bed along with a lengthy caption explaining his side of the story. He wanted to address the now-viral post accusing him of being a third party in the separation of Moira and Jason.

According to Zack, he decided to stay quiet for over a year but it’s now time to set the record straight.

Zack said both his and Moira’s circle of friends were shocked after finding out that Moira and Jason ended their marriage and that their priority was to be there for Moira.

“Our group of friends would go out for dinner, we would all take her out individually as well, we watch movies, and we would do anything to make her happy and give her company," Zack said, adding those were months filled with breakdowns, traumas, and trust issues. "Moira was just not well,” the 21-year-old singer-songwriter said.

According to Zack, they just wanted to support Moira in her healing, but instead, they were wrongly accused of so many things, especially him.

“[I] was there for a friend who needed my help, and [I] wanted to give that protection and support that she gave me when [I] needed it. [But] that’s not what everyone saw and what everyone knew,” he said.

Zack said he wanted to stay quiet, but everything became “too heavy” for him, so much so that he attempted to take his own life.

“[The pressure, the accusations, the music, my mental state, and everything just crumbled down for me[,] and [I] gave up,” Zack said.

“I couldn’t take it… but thank God he gave me another chance,” he added. “[I] was in the hospital in a comma unresponsive, and everyone thought [I] didn’t make it.”

After several weeks of recovery and therapy, Zack said Moira and their circle of friends got colon tattoos to symbolize hope.

“[Moira] told us to get bird tattoos as well for me to fly high and never look down forever,” he said.

Zack admitted his mental health and all the issues surrounding him were not easy to discuss, but he knew that he had to speak up.

The “Habang Buhay” hitmaker then thanked everyone who supported his music.

“[To] hose who are also [on] the verge of giving up[,] this is not the end for you. God has so much in store for you, and your story will not end there,” he said.

He also left a message for Moira, whom he described as the strongest person he had met his whole life.

“[I] adore her with all my heart,” Zack said.

“[She] was one of the people who were there for me during my healing stages in the ward, and [I] will never ever forget how much she’s helped me grow and move [past] this phase of mine despite all the things she went through,” he added.

Earlier this week, Moira released a statement about cheating and ghostwriting allegations made against her.

Moira and Jason confirmed their separation in May 2022 when Jason admitted he had been “unfaithful” to Moira during their marriage.
