Rex Baculfo is the grand champion of 'The Clash' Season 5

Rex Baculfo of Caloocan City was hailed the grand champion of "The Clash" Season 5!

According to a Chika Minute report on "24 Oras," Monday, Rex faced Arabelle dela Cruz in the final one-on-one round.

They performed their own renditions of Christian Bautista's original song "Oras Ko 'To."

Before that, he performed "Earth Song" by Michael Jackson in the "Matira ang Pinakamatibay."

"Talagang overwhelming and di ko alam 'yung pumapasok sa utak ko nun," he said. "Nung nakatayo kaming dalawa ni Arabelle sabi ko, 'Lord, I give it to you. Itong ginawa kong performances, sa lahat-lahat, sa 'The Clash,' eh para sa 'yo."

Rex won P1 million, a brand new house and lot, and an exclusive contract with GMA.

Other "The Clash" finalists include Liana Castillo and Mariel Reyes.
