Jodi Sta. Maria says intimate scenes in 'Unbreak My Heart' are 'the most difficult to do'

From the "Unbreak My Heart" trailers, we know that Jodi Sta. Maria and Joshua Garcia have some steamy scenes in the much-anticipated historical collaboration series between GMA and ABS-CBN.

This is the first time Joshua and Jodi are paired as love interests, so the sensuality workshop they took before leaving for Europe definitely helped.

"Nakatulong, 'yung discussion about boundaries and what you're comfortable and not so comfortable doing during the scenes," Jodi said at the media conference held on Thursday at SEDA Vertis North in Quezon City.

"Intimate scenes are the most difficult [scenes] to do," she added. "It will require a certain level of intimacy and trust from your [screen] partner."

Meanwhile, Joshua said the trust both Jodi and Gabbi put on him helped him prepare both mentally and physically for the intimate scenes.

“Sobrang hirap talaga niya pero I think dahil sa tiwala na binigay sa 'kin ni ate Jodi and Gabbi, mas naging madali yung eksena,” he said.

In an earlier report, Gabbi also mentioned how the sensuality workshop prepared her to play her "most mature role" yet in "Unbreak My Heart."

"Unbreak My Heart" will air on Mondays to Thursdays starting May 29 on GMA Telebabad, Pinoy Hits, and I Heart Movies at 9:35 p.m. and 11:25 p.m. on GTV.
