Heart Evangelista clarifies alleged snubbing incident with Vicki Belo: 'Hindi ko siya nakita'

Everything is water under the bridge now, as Dra. Vicki Belo saw to immediately set the record straight.

But on Friday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," The Kapuso fashion icon briefly spoke about the incident where she allegedly snubbed Dra. Vicki Belo and Alex Gonzaga at the Milan Fashion Week last year.

"Hindi ko siya nakita," Heart began. 

"I'm not there to chitchat. I'm there to immerse myself," she continued. "It's art and you appreciate art — so talagang naka-focus ako [sa fashion show]."

Heart explained it was a Gucci show that featured models who all turned out to be twins. "It's such an experience and everything else is a blur."

In November last year, the Doctor to the Stars uploaded a vlog with Alex Gonzaga where they joked that Heart didn't say hi to them at the Milan Fashion Week. 

Shortly thereafter, reports about Heart allegedly snubbing Vicki and Alex made showbiz headlines.

Vicki quickly put out the fire on her Instagram Stories, clarifying that Heart didn't snub them. 

"How could she [Heart] snub us when she didn't even know we were there? And we never ever saw each other," Vicki said.

At Milan Fashion Week, Heart attended several fashion shows including Onitsuka Tiger's show where she met GOT7's Yugyeom and sat beside him in the front row. 

On "Fast Talk" Friday, Heart turned modest and said "there are bigger stars [at these fashion events] but, may nararating talaga when you love something."

"No matter how weird or unique or whatever, if it's something you love and if you're authentic about it, you will get somewhere," Heart said. — LA, GMA Integrated News
