Matteo Guidicelli talks about purpose in GMA Public Affairs video

Matteo Guidicelli became the newest Kapuso after he signed a contract with GMA Public Affairs on Thursday.

In a high-octane video shot just last weekend, Matteo talked about purpose.

"Oras na for new challenges, new adventures, new opportunities and a new home," Matteo's voice over began, as the celebrity jumped off a helicopter, rode his motorcycle, and battled it out with assailants.

As he entered the GMA Network premises, he could be heard saying, "Lahat tayo may purpose at misyon sa mundong ito and this time nahanap ko na ‘yung sa akin, dito."

Matteo's contract signing doubled as a warm welcome from GMA. In the press conference that followed, he thanked his Kapuso family and revealed it took them about one year to finalize his transfer to GMA-7.

"I know it's been a year, pero parang pag ibig lang 'yan 'di ba? Good things happen to those who wait, so maraming salamat," Matteo said.

During the press conference, he also shared how his wife Sarah Geronimo supported his move. “Sabi niya, ‘Love, bagay ka dun sa Public Affairs,'" Matteo recalled Sarah telling him. 

"'Your prayers are answered. Our prayers are answered',” he said.

Among Matteo's first projects as a Kapuso is to join the Unang Hirit" barkada as host beginning Monday, May 15. — LA, GMA Integrated News
