Ruru Madrid to pair up with Yassi Pressman in upcoming movie 'Video City'

Ruru Madrid and Yassi Pressman will be working on a movie together!

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the King of Talk revealed that Ruru and Yassi will play love interests in an upcoming movie, "Video City," a collaboration film between GMA Pictures and VIVA Films.

The fantasy-romcom, inspired by the famous video rental shop in the '90s Video City, follows the story of Ruru, who will travel back in time when Video City shops still existed, and that's where he will meet Yassi.

"Excited si Ruru dahil nakasama na niya before si Yassi, and sa katotohanan, ang una niyang dancing partner sa "Protege" is Yassi," Boy said in "The Talk" segment of his afternoon show.

"Video City" will mark Ruru and Yassi's first movie together.
