'Voltes V: Legacy' trends at no. 1 on Twitter during pilot episode

Filipino viewers truly volted in for the pilot episode of "Voltes V: Legacy" on Monday!

The hashtag #VoltesVLegacyTVPremiere landed at no. 1 of the trending list on Philippine Twitter with 28,000 tweets and counting as fans showered praises on the series.

In addition, "Steve Armstrong," "Jamie Robinson," "Miguel Tanfelix," and "Dokugaga" also made it to the trending list.

Some fans waxed nostalgic at the many nods of the live action adaption to the anime, such as recreating some of the scenes from the original opening sequence during the ending credits.
