Radson Flores on how his 'Voltes V: Legacy' character Mark Gordon fights: 'Reckless 'yung style niya'

Radson Flores plays Mark Gordon, the second command of the Voltes V team in "Voltes V: Legacy."

In Nelson Canlas's report on "24 Oras," Thursday, the Sparkle actor shared some of his character's personality ahead of the series premiere.

"Misfit sa mga peers niya kasi ano siya eh lumaking walang parents, only companion niya is a horse," he said of Mark.

As for how he fights, Radson said, "Reckless 'yung style niya... forte niya lang basta suntukan go na 'yun."

Mark is the pilot of Volt Bomber, which becomes the arms of the Voltes V robot. He also uses a whip as a weapon.

Radson had to learn horse riding and fighting scenes to prepare for the role.

"Nung bata po ako, nabibilib lang po ako sa mga movies na sci-fi and action scenes," he said.

"Sinasabi ko when I was younger na, 'Paglaki ko kaya, mapupunta kaya ako dito na ang angas nung ginagawa kong scene'?"

Now he is part of one of the biggest sci-fi action series in Philippine television.

"Voltes V: Legacy" will premiere on GMA Telebabad on Monday, May 8.
