Maey Bautista gushes over 'Unbreak My Heart' co-star Jodi Sta. Maria

Maey Bautista has nothing but kind words for her "Unbreak My Heart" co-star Jodi Sta. Maria.

In the much-awaited series, Maey plays Jodi's best friend.

In an interview on "Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel," the actress and comedienne said that although she was star-struck when she first met Jodi, she immediately saw that she brings nothing but good vibes.

"As in hindi ka mai-intimidate sa kaniya," Maey said. "Basta iba—alam mong parang sincere siya."

Maey said that the way she sees a person's sincerity is when they make eye contact when they greet each other or shake hands.

"So na-feel ko na 'yun," she said.

The Kapuso actress looked back on working with Jodi on their first taping day for the series.

"Makuwento siya, pero 'yung magandang kwento tapos may laman na kwento," Maey said. "Tapos hindi ka mahihiya sa kanya na unang eksena mo na siya talaga."

"Unbreak My Heart" is the historic collaboration between GMA Network, ABS-CBN, and Viu Philippines.

The series shot some scenes in Europe. Joining the main cast are Richard Yap, Gabbi Garcia, and Joshua Garcia.

"Unbreak My Heart" released its first teaser last March, which was very intriguing and got fans curious about the show's storyline.
