Ambassador of Japan in the Philippines commends Julie Anne San Jose’s rendition of ‘Voltes V’ theme song
The Ambassador of Japan to the Philippines, Koshikawa Kazuhiko, is the newest fan of “Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience.”
On Twitter, the ambassador called it "AN EXPERIENCE INDEED!" after watching the film with his wife.
“It will definitely fascinate a new generation of ‘Voltes V’ fans,” he added.
But that's not all: Ambassador Kaz also commended Julie Anne San Jose, who sang the “Voltes V” theme song in the original Japanese.
“The bright and powerful rendition of ‘Voltes V No Uta’ by Ms. Julie Anne San Jose perfectly match its impact!” he said.
Julie Anne's version now has a music video featuring scenes from the Philippine adaptation.
A true “Voltes V” fan, Ambassador Kazuhiko previously shared his excitement for the series and is happy to see the “enthusiastic reception.”
“Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience” extended its run in selected cinemas until May 2.
The series, "Voltes V: Legacy," is set to premiere on GMA Network on May 8.
