Khalil Ramos, Dolly De Leon, Maris Racal to star in spin-off of 'Hintayan ng Langit'
An exciting new series is in the works!
Khalil Ramos, Golden Globe and BAFTA nominee Dolly De Leon, Maris Racal, and Jane Oineza are among the cast members of the upcoming series "Simula sa Gitna."
According to an Instagram post by Sparkle, the show will be a spin-off of the 2018 film "Hintayan ng Langit."
It will be directed by the multi-awarded filmmaker Antoinette Jadaone.
Khalil also posted some behind-the-scenes photographs during their shoot, which they had been teasing since March.
"Hintayan ng Langit" starred Gina Pareño and the late Eddie Garcia.
Gina played Lisang, a woman who died due to diabetes and has been in purgatory for two years. Her ex-boyfriend Manolo, played by Eddie, enters the picture. They get reacquainted, and later also reveal their pasts and why they did not end up together.
