'Voltes V: Legacy:' So how much does each flight suit cost?
High-quality costumes for a world-class production!
On Tuesday's press conference, "Voltes V: Legacy" director Mark Reyes revealed each flight suit of Voltes V members cost P350,000.
Her learned about it while shooting for a scene that required a lot of movement from the cast members donning flight suits.
"We were shooting the Butterfly Return episode, and then, bagsak nang bagsak si Steve on the ground," he said. "I didn't care because it was called for."
But as Steve, portrayed by Miguel Tanfelix, was tossing and turning, he saw their EP giving a worried signal.
Direk Mark narrated how, after the shoot, he approached their EP to ask if she had any problem. She told him she was just worried about damaging the flight suits.
“I asked her, ‘magkano ba ‘yan?’ and she responded P350,000,” he said. "That's how much the flight suits are."
"You saw naman the flight suits, hindi ‘yun tinipid," he added.
The "Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience" is now on SM Cinemas from April 19 to 25. Meanwhile, "Voltes V: Legacy" will air on GMA Telebabad starting May 8.
